I think i've cracked it????

Seems quite easy once you get the hang of it. Took me 3 attempts.... will do a few more rows just to make sure.

Bramble stitch aka Trinity

Ok i have googled this and found step by step instructions on how to do it...

Row 1: Purl row
Row 2: K1, P1, K1 into 1 stitch, P3 together * Repeat till the end
Row 3: Purl row
Row 4: P3 together, K1, P1, K1 into 1 stitch * Repeat till the end.

Knit the stitch, but before dropping off the loop from the left needle bring your yarn forward and purl, and again before you drop the loop off bring the yarn back and knit the stitch and then drop it off the loop

Wish me luck :O)

Debbie Bliss - Stella

Just got myself some new yarn for my next project, some lovely Stella by Debbie Bliss, its a mix of silk, rayon and cotton. Going to make a jumper from her Coastlines pattern book, but the jumper i have in mind has a stitch in it that i have never attempted before, think its called a Bramble stitch??? so will have to have a practice on some scrap bits of yarn first hee hee.

CABLES

I started this jumper intending for it to have arms, but ran out of wool, but it doesn't look too bad.. just need to sew it all up, the part that i hate doing...

MY TOOLS

I think i have got every type of knitting needles i will ever need here?? haha what do you think???

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

I started making this about 2 years ago!! can you believe it, got to the collar and for some reason just gave up?? Maybe one day i will finish this (i hope) my mam loves this jumper, so one day when i can get back into it i will finish it for her..... what a shame, spent ages on the front, back and arms.......

Rowan Chunky Wool

I love this thick chunky wool !!! and green is my favourite colour!

A wee cardy

Im not sure about this one?? i think it looks odd? i definately have to work on my stitching!! but the yarn is lovely! Cashmere!!!!

Ruffles

I like this jumper, with the ruffle detail on the collar. It was a bit tricky, it was the first time i had attempted that collar effect.

A little raglan cardy

A cute ickle cotton cardigan, with raglan sleeves and mother of pearl buttons.

A wee beanie

Just something nice and simple. only took me about an hour !!!

Little Diamond

Here are a few things that i have completed......

This little blue jumper was quite fun to do, with those little diamonds.
